I have only ever created two products in my life, one was back in 2014 and it was about posting in Facebook groups, the other one launched in July 2017 and was about ranking videos on YouTube, which is something i've done for over two years now. That's up to you. Preferably, you don't create a product until you have actually used a method enough to get results with, so I would start with actually getting something working for you.
It will take you a lot of work, but then again working online is not for everyone.
